If you share our passion to empower women to choose life and walk them through their pregnancy, then we invite you to join our team. There are many ways to share your talents at Alternatives. Opportunities include:
Client Advocate- We’re looking for mature, Christian women and men at least 25 years old to meet with our clients and their partners one on one. Commit to a set day for approximately 4 hours each week or at least every other week. At least one year commitment is preferred. Training is provided.
Male Advocates – We’re looking for men to come along side of our young men as role models.
Spanish Speaking Advocates – Someone who can speak Spanish and English well to be a Client Advocate for our Spanish speaking clients.
Receptionist – Welcome clients with a smile, answer the phone, help with scheduling and filing, help with mailings, some computer data entry, making phone calls and helping with donations.
Housekeeping – Help keep our building looking great by keeping the inside clean.
Facilities Maintenance – Help with various physical duties such as equipment and facilities repairs, painting, mowing, grounds keeping, and handyman activities.
IT Person – Help with computer issues and up-keep.
Church Liaisons –Promote Alternatives to your church regarding upcoming events. Assist with volunteer recruitment and notify Alternatives’ staff about speaking and promotional opportunities.
Special Events Helper – Help prepare for our fundraising events. Help with event planning and marketing.
Prayer Warrior – Pray in person or at home for the center, it’s clients, it’s staff, volunteers and board.
Garage Help – Take donations to the garage, separate them, take clothes home to wash, wash toys, and restock Caring Connection Closet.
Post-Abortion small group facilitator – Help lead and support others through a small group Bible study.
University/College Liaison- Connect us to Universities and colleges. Promoting Alternatives and it's up-coming events. Assist with volunteer/internship recruitment and notify Alternatives' staff about promotional and speaking opportunities
